HOW TO BOOK/MAKE A RESERVATION
Making a booking can be done via telephone, fax or email. See our contact page for all our contact details.
We are available to take your telephone calls all day until 8pm and we read our email daily.

Terms and Conditions
OUR OBLIGATION
Newport Guest House will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the services and accommodation provided are of a satisfactory standard. Furthermore, Newport Guest House will observe all health and safety rules and regulations.
YOUR OBLIGATION
The customer will:
- Pay the full amount of the cost of the services and accommodation booked unless the booking is cancelled by noon on the day preceding the day of arrival.
- If the booking is for a stay of a period of less than 7 days the customer will pay the full amount of the cost of the services and accommodation prior to departure.
- If the booking is for a stay of a period of 7 days or more the customer will pay the cost of services and accommodation by instalments as requested by Newport Guest House.
Furthermore the customer will:
- Take all reasonable care to avoid damaging the Newport Guest House or any fixtures, fittings or other items belonging to the Newport Guest House. In the event that the customer damages any property or any fixtures, fittings or other items belonging to the Newport Guest House the Newport Guest House will issue an invoice to cover the cost of repair and/or replacement as appropriate together with administration costs. The amount shown on the invoice shall be final and binding.
- Refrain from smoking inside the Newport Guest House and in any outside areas which are designated as No Smoking Areas. In the event that the customer fails to abide by the prohibition against smoking then any damages caused as a result or any loss and/or expenses suffered by Newport Guest House then Newport Guest House will issue an invoice to cover the cost of repair and/or replacement as appropriate together with the amount of any loss and expense and administration costs. The amount of the invoice shall be final and binding.
- Familiarise himself or herself with the fire precautions as displayed on the premises.
All invoices are to be settled in full on the day upon which the invoice is issued to the customer. Time for payment shall be of the essence.
The customer must not bring any drugs (other than drugs obtained via a prescription issued by a medical practitioner) or alcoholic beverages onto the premises of Newport Guest House.
No food is to be consumed on the premises of Newport Guest House unless the food has been provided by Newport Guest House.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
The customer shall be responsible for the safety and security of all of his/her goods and possessions while at Newport Guest House. Newport Guest House will not be liable for any loss or damage to the customer's goods and possessions while at Newport Guest House.
GENERAL
Checking in is available between 4pm & 8pm unless alternative arrangements are agreed in advance. Newport Guest house reserves the right to re-let the room is the room is not occupied or alternative arrangements made by 8pm.
Newport Guest House requires that all of its customers behave in a civilised fashion. In the event that the behaviour of any customer gives Newport Guest House any cause for concern or the customer is in breach of any of the terms of this contract Newport Guest House shall in its absolute discretion be entitled to require that the offending customer leaves the Newport Guest House forthwith. In such circumstances the customer shall be obliged to pay the full amount of the cost of services and accommodation for the whole of the anticipated stay at Newport Guest House before leaving the Newport Guest House.
Newport Guest House is the trading name of Mike Clark Limited, registered number 03388930. The contract is made between Mike Clark Limited trading as Newport Guest House and the customer. All references in these conditions to Newport Guest House shall be deemed to be a reference to Mike Clark Limited.
